Maeldune Heritage Centre


Maeldune Heritage CentreHoused against the old tower of the medieval Church of St. Peter, the centre contains the nationally renowned 42 feet long Maldon Millennium Embroidery designed to commemerate the 1000 anniversary of the Battle of Maldon, artefacts and information of local archaeological interest, the Maldon Society photographic archives, exhibitions of local artists and gift shop.

Visitors are recommended to explore St Peter’s Churchyard Garden which incorporates an attractive layout of paths, flower beds and interpretation boards.
